20 rattan lights we’re loving right now!
Rattan lights are one of my favourite ways to bring warmth and texture into a room… especially in coastal interiors where using natural materials is so effective. A rattan ceiling light or rattan light fixture instantly softens a space and adds that relaxed, slightly boho feel I always seem to come back to. We rounded up our favourite rattan wall lights here, but wicker pendant lights, cane lights, and other rattan boho hanging lights deserve their own little moment too — they’re such an easy way to add character overhead.
RATTAN PENDANTS IN OUR ATTIC APARTMENT
In our attic apartment, see photo above, we have four woven pendants in a row in each eaves space and they make such a lovely feature. One of these rattan lights also hangs in the adjacent kitchen area, see photo below. We sell these lovely, natural coloured rattan lights in our Tin Coast Design Shop.
I’ll be honest though… I don’t actually switch pendant lights on very often at home. I’m very much a wall lights and table lamps person in the evenings! However, whether it’s a chunky basket lamp, a simple rattan light shade, or a sculptural wicker chandelier, natural textures add interest even when the lights are off and I still love having them for the warmth and texture they bring to such a large space.

Our Tin Coast Design Shop counter lights were one of our best sellers. They are huge and have a slightly more antique look than some rattan ceiling lights with their greyed rattan tone. We called them Alexandra after the name of the road that the shop is on! They are for sale here.
