Cornwall outfits are all about easy layers, cheerful accessories and pieces that still work when the weather changes its mind halfway through the day (which it often does here!).
I’ve spotted so many lovely spring accessories appearing in the shops lately… gorgeous scarves, beautiful leather belts, new sunglasses under £40, woven raffia bags and easy flats that feel far more appealing than wellies once the sun decides to show up. It all feels very Cornwall fashion to me — relaxed, cheerful and ready for a wander down to Cornwall beach or a slow coffee by the harbour.

Cornwall outfits – the base layer!
To make it simple, I’ve started with a base outfit that works in almost any weather… which is always a good thing in Cornwall (lol). White jeans and a classic white T-shirt create the starting point. Add a great belt, a scarf, a raffia bag and a pair of gorgeous flats and suddenly it feels like a proper Cornwall outfit.
Throw on a denim shirt and everything still works perfectly. Layer a couple of gold necklaces, pull on gingham socks for a pop of colour, or carry a huge striped beach bag and you’ve instantly created a whole collection of Cornwall outfit ideas from the same base.
The chunky fisherman’s cardigan changes the look again. Worn over just the T-shirt it keeps the outfit soft and monotone. Layered over the denim shirt it suddenly feels slightly fisherwoman chic, which is very much the Cornwall aesthetic. All the accessories below mix and match with this base, so you can create lots of easy Cornwall holiday outfits without packing half your wardrobe!
