Now, let’s talk about the food! I highly recommend their smoothies—fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavour. The Date and Banana smoothie is particularly dreamy. I f you’re after something more substantial, their granola bowl is an absolute winner. It’s beautifully presented, loaded with fresh fruit, and perfectly balanced between crunchy and creamy. Everything here is thoughtfully put together, from the food to lovely interior dotted with vases of flowers. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to snap a few photos before you dig in (and trust me, you’ll want to!)
The Cornish Barn – A Rustic, Laid-Back Breakfast Vibe

If you’re after something sweet, their pastries are some of the best in town, and the coffee is always spot-on. There are tables inside the café but if it’s dry, sit outside with a flat white in hand, looking out to sea! That’s my kind of perfect morning.

Tremenheere Kitchen – Breakfast with a View
Tucked away in the lush surroundings of Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens, Tremenheere Kitchen is my go-to for a breakfast that feels like a mini getaway. The huge windows flood the space with light, and if you grab a seat outside, you’ll be treated to stunning views of St Michael’s Mount.
Their breakfast menu is all about quality ingredients and simple, delicious combinations. Think thick-cut bacon and poached eggs on sourdough, or a perfectly cooked Full Cornish breakfast. If you have a sweet tooth, their homemade granola with yogurt and fresh fruit is divine. Plus, the coffee? Absolutely spot on. Gulval is less than ten minutes by car from the centre of Penzance Cornwall.

Their breakfast menu is packed with crowd-pleasers, from fluffy pancakes to indulgent eggs benedict. Their vegetarian breakfast is one of the best I’ve had, with halloumi, smashed avocado, and roasted tomatoes. And the best part? It’s all made with super fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Jordan’s Café – Beachside Breakfast Bliss
For a proper beachside breakfast, Jordan’s Café between Long Rock and Marazion is a must. This little gem is right on coastal path, steps from the beach, in the car park with a fab view of St Michael’s Mount. It’s the perfect place to fuel up before a seaside stroll.
Their breakfast French bread sandwiches are the stuff of legend—crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, and absolutely packed with delicious fillings. Whether you go for bacon, egg, sausage, or a combination of all three, add a hash brown and you won’t be disappointed! The coffee from the local company, Yallah Coffee is excellent too. If the weather’s dry, I highly recommend grabbing a takeaway and enjoying your breakfast right on the beach with unbeatable views of the Mount. Pure bliss.
