Cornwall in January! This morning the beach was empty, the sun was shining but the wind was so strong 💨 Belle gave up and had to be carried and unlike yesterday we made it back to the car before the rain came! 🌊🌧️

I struggled a bit today 😭 Dismantling the shop

I struggled a bit today 😭 Dismantling the shop was harder than I thought it would be! The lights are all down now and will have a new life in our barn project! The shop opens tomorrow for a final time (for now). Our Coastal Interiors Shop will continue online and our Interior Design studio will obvs carry on too. To reiterate we were given notice to leave our building as it’s in need of major repairs which will start in a few weeks. It’s not just our shop but the whole block so it will take months. The plus side is that I’ll have more energy to concentrate on our new Airbnb Holiday Barn and Cottage which will open soon! See our Bio for more info xx

The best part of my day! A quick walk at Tremenheere although Belle had other ideas 😏

This can be anything from catching a view of the skyline of your favorite city to seeing a picture of your pet.” When your glimmer is a glimmer! #meta 😂 I’m making it my mission to take pictures of glimmers of sunlight in my home! 💫. Here’s a glimmer in my bathroom which faces north so it’s quite grey light in there usually which added to the joy!

Renovating our three Airbnbs has meant many late night trawling through wall lighting ideas. I love so many but I narrowed it down and divided them into different blog post categories. I’ve started by linking my 12 favourite BRASS wall lights! All of which have found their way in to current or past projects. I’m still feeling a bit rough with a cold so I’m lying on the sofa staring at the walls! I love all the artwork in my flat - most of its vintage or at the very least in a vintage frame. My absolute favourite painting is of Bella kindly gifted by @clairewebberartist it captures her little grumpy spirit so brilliantly! In a fire, alongside the real Belle of of course, it’s what I’d grab! Wishing you a lovely weekend - Cornwall escaped the snow but it’s cold!
